About Big Easy Patios

Big Easy Patios is a New Orleans outdoor living and exterior remodeling company. We design and build custom patios, patio covers, pergolas, gazebos, outdoor kitchens, decks, and screen rooms, and we handle the exterior work that goes with them: siding, roofing, and windows. Our office sits on Soraparu Street in the Lower Garden District, and our crews work across the metro and over the lake on the Northshore.

Why we build outdoor spaces here

New Orleans is one of the best places in the country to live outside. Winters are mild, the food culture spills into the backyard, and an evening on a covered patio beats most rooms in the house. The catch is the weather the rest of the calendar throws at us: summer heat, high humidity, afternoon downpours, and a storm season that runs June through November.

That is why everything we build starts with the climate. Covers and pergolas are anchored and engineered for wind. Wood is chosen and treated for humidity. Paving sits on compacted, drainage-graded bases, because soft delta soil settles when water sits under it. A backyard that fights our weather never gets used. One designed for it gets used all year.

How we work

Every project runs the same way. We come out, walk the property, and listen to what you are picturing. Then we design the space, hand you a written estimate with the full scope spelled out, and pull the permits your parish requires. Our own crew does the work, cleans up, and walks the finished project with you before we call it done. With 30+ years of patio experience behind us, the process is simple on purpose: no surprises, no pressure, and a price that holds.
